International Harp Competitions

One of the primary goals of the foundation is to raise the profile of young harpists who win major international harp competitions such as the prestigious U.S.A. International Harp Competition, Lily Laskine International Harp Competition and the Israel International Harp Contest. Winners receive a new (and often unique) harp presented by the foundation, debut recitals in the United States and worldwide, and a recording on the Egan Records label. To date, the foundation has played an important role in helping to launch the careers of many fine young harpists, now recognized as Victor Salvi Foundation Laureates: Anna Verkholansteva, Gwyneth Wentink, Catrin Finch, Letizia Belmondo, Maria Luisa Rayan Forero, Dan Yu and Jane Yoon. Others include the following foundation artists: Anneleen Lenaerts, Emmanuel Ceysson and Varvara Ivanova.
