"The Prelude concert provides an opportunity to hear great music performed by outstanding artists who will be on the Festival program in January," says Sandra Meluk, executive director of Salvi Foundation – Colombia. "It is also a fundraising event to help support the next Festival. In order to sustain this event – including, the masterclasses, workshops and other programs we offer throughout the year, we need public and private support, as income from ticket sales covers only a small portion of our costs. It is only through the generosity of our friends in Colombia and abroad who understand and share our mission that we are able to continue these important events," says Meluck.
