"Music Is For Everyone" – A Joint Project Of Salvi Foundation – Colombia And Senal Colombia Public Channel Features Music From The 2009 Cartagena International Music Festival
Documentary To Air During Holy Week
- The documentary, ‘Music Is For Everyone’, a joint project of the Fundaciòn Salvi Colombia and Señal Colombia public channel will be broadcasted on Thursday, April 9, at 6.00 pm
- During Holy Week, Señal Colombia will also broadcast the Cartagena Festival opening concert, concerts at the city neighborhoods and the Plaza San Pedro series of concerts of the 2009 Cartagena International Music Festival.
Bogotà, Colombia. Colombian public TV channel, Senal Colombia has joined with Salvi Foundation – Colombia to present a documentary featuring musical highlights of the 2009 Cartagena Music Festival scheduled to air during Holy Week, April 6-12. In addition to concerts held in the Teatro Heredia, Plaza San Pedro and in Cartagena neighbourhoods, the film includes scenes of the more than 400 young students and 50 professional musicians interacting with the invited artists in master classes, workshops and concerts during the festival week.

"This year, through the generosity of our media sponsors, we were able to bring the concerts to every corner of the country through live national TV and radio broadcasts during the festival week. ‘Music for Everyone,’ the documentary, preserves the remarkable spirit and energy of the festival and keeps the spirit alive. It’s no wonder that in a short time, the Cartagena Festival of Music has won the hearts of the people of Colombia."
