CARDIFF The Prince of Wales has a new official harpist. Claire Jones, 22, from Crymych, Pembrokeshire, is to take over the role. She will be the third person to hold the post, which was revived by the Prince seven years ago.

Miss Jones, left, who won the harp solo at the National Eisteddfod of Wales last year, said that she was very proud to have been selected.

She will make her debut at a black tie dinner hosted by the Prince and the Duchess of Cornwall at Cardiff Castle tomorrow.
