Lily Laskine Competition September 13 - 20, 2008

As every year, two competitions will take place during the 2008 fall season: the Lily Laskine harp Competition and the Jean-Pierre Rampal flute Competition. These two simultaneous competitions will establish the tribute to these two renowned soloists, partners for so long. The prize-winners’ common concert, thanks to the Concerto for flute and harp composed by Mozart, will give the opportunity to establish a strong relationship between both competitions.

The Lily Laskine jury, chaired by Catherine Michel (France), consists of Emmanuel Ceysson (France), Marie-Pierre Chavaroche (France), Maria Graf (Germany), Elisabeth Hainen (USA), Christine Icart (France), Anna Loro (Italy), Masumi Nagasawa (Japan) and Anna Verkholantseva (Russia). The junior jury consists of Sabine Chefson, Bertile Fournier and Ghislaine Petit-Volta.

The Jean-Pierre Rampal jury, chaired by Philippe Bernold (France), consists of András Adorján (Germany), Emily Beynon (UK), Mario Caroli (Italy), Michel Debost (France), José Garcia Guerrero (Venezuela), Shigenori Kudo (Japan), Vincent Lucas (France) and Philippe Pierlot (France).
